ABOUT ME

I’m a first-generation Ukrainian-American, Doctor of Physical Therapy, and lifelong movement nerd. I grew up as a chubby kid who found skateboarding, then traded concrete for waves and never looked back. These days, if the surf’s flat, I’m climbing something, hiking challenging terrain, or training to stay surf-ready.

Before becoming a PT, I spent 8 years as a personal trainer. And like many athletes, I’ve had my share of setbacks. A grade 3 AC separation and a meniscus tear both knocked me out of the water and forced me to rehab myself back. So I don’t just understand injuries from the textbook—I know the emotional frustration, identity loss, and mental grind of being sidelined from the sports you love.

My goal? To help you surf stronger, recover smarter, and stay in the lineup longer—without burning out or breaking down. I’m also bilingual so I can always break down your rehab in both Russian and English.
